Jud, Louis's neighbor, sheds some light on the history of the Wendigo and Ludlow. A lifetime resident of Ludlow, Jud knows well enough not to venture into the burial ground too often. Judging by the the archives that Louis pulls up on his computer, the burial ground's powers seem to be common knowledge in Ludlow.

Residents have been using the burial ground's powers for decades as someone once brought back a bull and a dog. I'm not going to say much.

Every 'dark' scene looks like it was obviously film in an indoor studio rather than outdoors. Anyone scared by this is a child to horror filmmaking. Why King endorsed this i will never know, unless its about the usal $$$. The original film kicks this one's butt in oh so many ways. As a BIG fan of the book this film left me dry in the mouth. The actors do not reflect the book's in anyway.

Even if this were a retelling it fails to conjure any real scares, instead opting for cheesy scores at times it wants you to feel tension. It just does not work.

I bet many of us missed the Facebook flash games such as Pet Society and Restaurant City a lot, glad that we can finally retrieve our good old times yet again on our smartphone. Of course, I’m looking forward to what Pet Paradise is offering, but I hope there will be a mobile version of Restaurant City too. Can someone bring it back?
